RONALD THAIN
After graduating from Gray's School of Art in 1971, Ronald Thain worked for Castlewynd Studios in Aviemore, developing specialised ceramic screen-printing techniques for the colourful, enamel-decorated Highland China range. A post-graduate year at Glasgow College of Printing in 1985 led to a long career in the graphic design industry.
In 2016 he presented a concept exhibition – 'Photographics' – at the Iona Gallery. 'Photographics' was also shown at UPSTAIRS Gallery, Inverness in January 2019 and later that year at The Cromarty Group annual summer exhibition.
