ROD PURCELL
Rod is a photographer and writer. Over the past twenty years he has travelled widely and undertaken photographic projects in Europe, Asia and the USA. Examples of his work can be seen on his website (rod-purcell.com).
His current projects include; portraiture, a visual deep mapping of the local landscape, and urban street life. He is currently producing a series of limited edition Artist's Books that will be released during 2020 / 2021.
Born in London, Rod was originally a community development worker in the West of Scotland, and has researched / taught Social and Cultural Theory at the University of Glasgow. Rod is the author / co-author of 15 books and numerous articles.
