SUSANNA McLEAN
Susanna lives in the Cairngorms National Park, and uses what is around her as inspiration.
She attended Canterbury college of art. After her foundation year, she studied Fashion, clothing and textile design.
On leaving college she was approached by Jane Asher to illustrate one of her books as well as taking on local illustration commissions.
She was a member of SIAD (Society of industrial artists and designers).
After a spell with Liberty of London in the 1990's, Susanna embarked on a career in Interior design, setting up her own Interior design company 14 years ago. www.sdcinteriors.co.uk
In total she has been in the design industry for over 36 years, and worked with wonderful clients on some amazing projects.
Moving to Scotland has allowed the time to explore her love of painting and sketching.
Susanna paints with watercolours and more recently has found a passion for pastels.
Susanna has exhibited locally and is now looking forward to producing more work with the view of a solo exhibition.
