DOUG MACKIE
As a mature student I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (Hons): Sculpture in 2018. I also studied marble carving in Carrara, Italy and have been carving in marble and various stones for over a decade. But my passion is just working with materials whether concrete, glass, wood, bronze etc. My work has been exhibited in the RSA and various other Galleries. I was elected as Professional Artist Member of the Society of Scottish Artists in 2018, and my work has won various awards and commissions.
