PAT HUGHES
As a child I was always making things and drawing everywhere and on everything (to my parents' consternation). This led eventually to studying for a degree in Fine Art (through installation, film and printmaking), and then qualifying as an art teacher in Wales. I then taught in a variety of schools in England, working my way northward into Scotland, eventually finding myself settled in Newtonmore.
My eclectic background continues into my current art practice as I happily work in a wide variety of media in both two and three dimensions.
