CAROLINE HUNT
Items I make relate to my two main interests – wildlife and music.

I have been making collage pictures from feathers since my teens. I have taken in injured birds since primary school and after swapping pictures made from feathers at school for sweets, I learnt I could I use feather items to pay for the vets bills. More recently I have made feather earrings and necklaces. I also occasionally make feather designs for glass topped tables.

I also make necklaces from RSPB badges, which also supports the RSPB too.

Other crafts include painted glasses and, inspired by a wall in Blair Castle, painted pine wood panelling pictures.

Over the last 20 years I have been involved with work on accordions and feature in 5 books on accordions. The music related items I make include mouse mats, coasters, necklaces and earrings.

Having spent the last 4 years going over to the Isle of Lewis and found a good source of Harris Tweed I have recently been making Harris Tweed shopping bags, designed for people with arthritis, and also snoods and scarves.
